Steve Rogers woke up to the day before his alarm even went off. It was usual, now. Another habit he had gained from the army. Not the best one, but it could be fairly useful at times. He got up from the bed after another badly slept night. The mattress was too soft. He sighed and slowly slid his hand down his face, but followed with his routine nonetheless. After a short shower and dressing up, Steve made his way out of the bedroom, but then stopped as he heard clattering on the kitchen. Steve looked at the corner, making sure his shield was where he had last placed. The only problem: it was located in a spot clearly seen from the kitchen.
